Mirage

The baffling darkness moved away
To fill the space with a silvery dawn...
I almost had slipped back to my senses
To see her, still sleeping in his arms...

Bewildered by the time’s parody
Heart full of wishes all I could give...
Pulled the curtain to veil her window
To keep her glee I chose to leave...

Miles and thousand faces I munched
To plaster a crack on the bygone paint...
But a pair of eyes did never let me doze
Neither in any cave nor in a polar tent...

In the crimson tone of sun bathed horizon
I backed my caravan to the land of charms...
Only to set free those enslaved tears
To see her merrily falling asleep in his arms...
